United States of America (Press Release) December 15, 2008 -- Fort Myers resident, Michelle A. James, is now a published author, having recently released her book, "A Black Sheep in the Fold".*
James, a Jamaican native, has lived in the local area for 5 years and has been employed in the healthcare field. However, her dream of writing became a reality as a result of unusual circumstances.
Having been unemployed for 8 months, her hidden talent was unleashed when she began to journal her thoughts on paper. She realized the catharsis that writing brought her as she came face-to-face with the harsh realities of a shaky economy.
She now has the pleasure of sharing her gift of the word with the world, in this new literary accomplishment. A second book, "Writes of Passage" which features her penned poetry, has been completed and is en route to the publisher.
James attends First Assembly of God- Fort Myers and is actively involved in the choir. She is also a member of Lee Memorial Health System’s Auxiliary.
Synopsis for "A Black Sheep in the Fold":
A young woman’s life experiences are depicted in this short story fiction, that traces her life from childhood to adulthood, where she is challenged by the many faces of adversity. As a result, she feels like a misfit in society and wonders why she is still alive. As she struggles to pass a number of tests, how would she score? Would these tests make or break her? Would she be molded or folded? Could she stand strong on her feet, or would she fall flat on her face? Only time would tell...
